Netscape troubleshooting

Under certain circumstances, Netscape does not download the Malayalam font correctly making it unreadable in Windows.

The solution is to download and install the font as described below.
You will need to unzip the file using a program such as Winzip.

1. Download and unzip this file: MYM-PLASSERY.ZIP to a folder on your computer - remember the location!

2. Open the Control Panel
   (Start Menu - Settings - Control Panel)

3. Double click on the Fonts icon and select:
   File - Install New Font

4. In the dialog box browse to the directory where you saved the MYM-PLASSERY.TTF file, when you are at the correct location the name 'MYM Plassery Regular' will appear in the list.

5. Select 'MYM Plassery Regular' and click on OK to install the font.

6. Close the Fonts window and Control Panel.

7. Restart your web browser and return to the test page to check if the font was installed correctly.

8. If you are still unable to see the Malayalam font you may need to restart Windows or reboot the computer.
