Michael Schumacher is Out of Coma!

Our prayers have been answered and Michael Schumacher is out of coma! The seven times F1 World Champion, and the 'Greatest Grand Prix Driver', has been in an induced coma since suffering serious injuries in a skiing accident in the French Alps resort of Meribel on 29 December 2013. He was having transient episodes of consciousness for a while and now he is out of coma and has been moved to University Hospital of Lausanne in Switzerland.

Michael Schumacher has won the World Championships seven times, 1994, 1995, and five times successively, in 2000, 2001,2002, 2003 and 2004! He has raced in 308 Grand Prix races, collecting 1566 points and 155 Podium positions during his charismatic career! He raced with 'Benetton' during 1991-1995 and then with 'Ferrari' during 1996-2006, retired from racing and stayed with Ferrari as the Consultant, and made a come back to racing with 'Mercedes' in 2010, till his decision to retire in 2012 at the Brazilian GP. According to the official Formula One website, he is "Statistically the greatest driver the sport has ever seen"! Michael Schumacher is like a magnet, drawing people to watch the Grand prix and now, his well wishers worldwide will be giving him that telepathic push, like we all did for him on the circuit all these years, to get great progress in his rehabilitation. And I am sure with the love and support from his family, his wife Corinna and the children, he will make miraculous progress very soon!

I still treasure the 'Thank you letter' from him while he was recovering from an accident during the British GP and I am so happy that Michael is on his way to recovery! Rehabilitation is a gradual process and I am sure Michael's willpower, his family's support and our prayers will make it faster than humanly possible! We are behind you Michael with our prayers and well wishes! He was wearing a helmet while skiing that saved his life so that the doctors at the hospital in Grenoble in France could work the Medical miracle! And I sincerely hope that this sends out a great message worldwide to everyone who is involved in any kind of sports or profession such as building work, or those who ride two-wheelers, etc, that 'It is mandatory that they wear a helmet or the seat belts if driving a four-wheeler, for their protection'!
