· Yesudas receives ‘Life Time Achievement Award’, at the Zee Gold Bollywood Music Award function in Manhattan, New York.

· ‘Gandharva’ music collection for Malayalees: ‘Digitally mastered’ light music collection in two cassettes, ‘Mampoo viriyunna’ and ‘Oru kari mottinte’.

· Please note that Rajeev Nath received the National Award, ‘Swarna Kamal’ for his film ‘Janani’ and not ‘Rajatha kamal’, as I mentioned in my article last month. Please accept my sincere apology for the mistake.

· There were three Indian films at the London Film Festival, this year, one Malayalam and two Bengali films.

· Thiruvananthapuram will host the Second International Video Film Festival from 25-30 March 2003. The best films on Society, development and Science from around the world will be shown during these five days. IV Fest is designed to have discussion sessions, open forum, seminars and informal gatherings for filmmakers, producers, critics, technicians and film lovers to interact and exchange ideas. Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT) is organizing the festival and Mr Rajeev Nath is the chairman. Further details available on the website:
